On November 24 2015, Cherry Hill West hosted their annual lip sync contest for spirit week. All grades participated and the competition was held in the new auditorium. The first group to perform was the freshman. They made their entrance riding in on a chariot and began their medley of sports themed songs. The sophomores took the stage with their “horror” theme and began with a ballerina introduction. The sophomores surprised the audience with some performers going into to the crowd. Next up was the juniors, who incorporated their “action” theme with a mix of the ‘Power Rangers’, ‘Star Wars’ and the ‘Powerpuff Girls’. Last to have the stage was the seniors with the theme “musical.” They sang a variety of songs including ‘Mamma Mia’, and ‘Grease Lightning’. For the finale Mr. Ansert revealed the overall winner to be the seniors and as the lights dimmed the cheers of the three time champions could still be heard.
