Splatoon 3 continues in celebrating the holiday spirit with a Splatfest re-run from two years ago: Who do you spend the holidays with? Would you rather hang out with friends, spend time with your family, or go solo and treat yourself to a nice, laid-back break?
After a long forty-eight hours, the results are here, with team Solo winning again for the second time. Unlike last time, it was a close match between Friends and Solo, with only a minor difference between their scores; Family again finished with zero points.
But you might be questioning, “What exactly is a Splatfest?” To answer that, a Splatfest is an event limited to Splatoon 3 players. As noted in a previous article, they are themed events. With that particular theme, you can choose which team to be on and battle it out to help your team win the event. These themes can range from your favorite ice cream flavor to the best go-to greeting to what to do at the end of the world! With the game already being three years old, these Splatfests now occur less, around once or twice every few months, so seeing another one pop up can be exciting!
