It’s been revealed that Puerto Rican Latino Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, artistically known as Bad Bunny, will be the next halftime performer in the 2026 Super Bowl.
This news has excited fans across the country who are happy for the representation they are receiving. With Bad Bunny performing, it will mark the first time a Latin male solo artist will headline the show. This is also momentous following Bad Bunny’s well-received final residency concert on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from his tour, “No Me Quiero Ir de Aqui: Una Mas.”
In an interview with Apple Music’s Halftime Headliner Special with Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden after the announcement of his Halftime performance, Bad Bunny shared his excitement about the opportunity given to him. He talked about the importance of uplifting the country and his longtime fans through this performance, as well as reaching a wider audience.
On Sunday, February 8th, 2026, the Super Bowl will kick off at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers.
