The Homecoming Dance is a dance that only happens once a year. The Homecoming Dance is a dance where students get dates and/or come with friends into a decorated gym or hall to hang out and/or dance. All in all, the dance is a celebration of a new school year.

Cherry High School West had its Homecoming Dance on November 22nd, 2019 from 7pm-10pm in the cafeteria. To get in the dance students paid $10. Mr.Hunt, the music teacher at Carusi Middle School, was the DJ at the dance. Students had a great time. Freshman Joselyn Molina Mendez stated, “I went to hang out with my friends. It was a lot of fun especially when they played Spanish music.”

At the end of the night, Dr. Morton announced the Homecoming Court. Cherry Hill West had five candidates for Homecoming King and five candidates for Homecoming Queen. King and Queen were announced at the Pep Rally. The Homecoming King was CJ Williams and the Homecoming Queen was Olivia Hafner.
