On April 30, Cherry Hill West had its annual World Language Cook-Off in the Library. The competition featured over a dozen groups of students creating cultural dishes and presenting posters, decorations, and information on each dish. The teams featured various cultures and heritages under the umbrella presentations of the Spanish, French, and Italian class students. Teachers were invited to stop by and try each of the tables out when they had a chance during the day.
The teams, along with their presentations and food, were judged and awarded based on various factors. The tables would be given titles based on skills of physical table presentation, their knowledge, main dish, dessert, and then another dish. The best Spanish, French, and Italian tables overall also received name recognition.
